Black Bear Pass

Need to give thanks to Chad and Sharon Lemons, both in San Juan Adventures FB group. They put the trip together. Besides me, Creeper Jeepers Cole with a Tacoma and Paul with an H2 were on the trip, and a few others. Great group!

Beautiful day! Trail looked great. Chad was very helpful, especially at the Steps. Paul had also done BB before, but the rest of us were newbies. Definitely need an experienced spotter for that spot. The trail looked great. I expected to see a bunch of stickers on signs, but they were pretty clean. I think the trip took us 4 1/2 hours, but that was partly due to spotters trying to help a big white Suburban get down. Good grief!! Sorry, should have gotten a pic of the tag. Lol!
