Medano Pass and Gunnison

Back in June 3-6, we started at the Great Sand Dunes National Park then proceeded to Medano Pass. From there we drove to the Cloverdale Mine to set up camp along the Balman Reservoir. Topped off fuel in Salida and proceeded to the McDonough Reservoir for lunch.  We followed the Los Pinos Cebola Road to Mill Creek Rd  and found an awesome campsite at Deer Lake campground for the night. Finished up our trip on the Slumgullion pass to Creede, CO. Did a quick stop at the North Clear Creek Falls (just north of Creede-well worth the stop), and gradually made our way back home to Durango.
