Black Bear Pass Maintenance Day

On Friday, August 8th, John “Hoov” led the club over Black Bear Pass for a maintenance day. The road from the Red Mountain Pass trailhead to the top has long been one of our club’s adopted trails.

There were 7 vehicles from the club and a few guest vehicles joined in along the way, including a local Durango couple, a gentlemen from Tennessee, and a gal from Texas. Our club was happy to have them along.

Club members picked up a hood from a previous accident. Hoov and a guest runner strapped it to the guest's roof and it was taken to the bottom of the trail to be recovered.

A great time was had by all!

Thank you to all those who participated and helped preserve our trail for everyone to enjoy.
