Cascade Divide Road is 10 miles long and located behind Purgatory. The purpose of this run is to shuttle trail crews with the Colorado Trail Foundation and Durango Trails into the backcountry for trail maintenance. Cascade Divide Rd. Is not a technical 4×4 road, however, it is too rocky for an AWD vehicle. The road offers great views of the Cascade Creek valley and the back side of Engineer Mountain. Stay tuned for details as the date gets closer. We will do this again on Friday, August 28th to get the crews back out.
