Meet at the Whistle Stop gas station in Silverton at 11 am. Or if you are in the Cortez area, be ready to leave the Maverick station at the intersection of 160 and 145 at 7:30 am. From the Maverick station, the plan is to go over Ophir Pass, then meet up with the others at the Whistle Stop.

Black Bear Pass is our adopted trail. Club members just ran it last week and said the trail looks great, so there shouldn’t be much to do. But if you see trash, please pick it up. If anything else needs attention, let the club know via email. If you are a member and run this trail, record your mileage from your home and back and send that information to the club email so the club gets credit.
