Picayune Gulch, Placer Gulch, Animas Forks, Engineer Pass

Be aired down and ready to depart the Whistle Stop Gas Station in Silverton at 9:45 am.

Be aware of wall construction with alternating traffic between Coal Bank and Molas Passes that will cause a traffic delay.

Travel Picayune and Placer Gulches. Lunch at Animas Forks about noon.  Ascend Engineer after lunch. Traffic has been heavy on Engineer the past couple weeks. If we have time, maybe a side trip on the way back to Silverton.

Planned return to Whistle Stop by 3:30 pm.
