SATURDAY MORNING WAS THE OFFICIAL KICK OFF.  WE DIVIDED INTO TWO GROUPS AND ONE HIT THE ROCK GARDEN FOR SOME HARD CORE FOUR WHEELING AND THE OTHER GROUP HIT SEVERAL NAVAJO PUEBLITOS ON A SCENIC DRIVE.  THEN AROUND ONE WE HAD SEVERAL JEEP GAMES TO PLAY INCLUDING BLINDFOLD COURSE RACE, EGG DROP RACE, BROOM BALL, JEEP JOUSTING, AND A REFLECTOR RUN AFTER DARK.  AFTER THE GAMES WERE DONE DICKIES BBQ BROUGHT IN MORE FOOD THAN WE COULD EVEN EAT SO SOME WENT TO THE LOCAL SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT.  AFTER DINNER WE HAD A LARGE EJS STYLE DRAWING.  WE HAD $6026 IN DONATIONS FROM 28 VENDORS.  DURING THE DRAWING WE STOPPED AND MADE A SURPRISE PRESENTATION TO OUR REMAINING FOUNDING MEMBERS, KEVIN FOX, ROGER STERLING, CHRIS STACEY, AND FRANK TAYLOR.  THEY WERE EXTREMELY EXCITED TO SEE THEIR NEW JACKETS.  AFTER THE DRAWING WE HAD ANOTHER EVENING AROUND THE CAMPFIRE.
